Jeanvestment

in this project my idea was to experiment with denim material. i wanted to find new methods to use denim, by changing its appearance, structure and texture. in my work, i like to fuse methods, styles or textiles that conventionally do not go together. motivated by this, i collected four pairs of jeans from a local second hand shop, cut them into stripes and called my crochet hook for help. i created an innovative piece of textile, which i chose to turn into a vest. the vest embodies the symbol of rebirth and new beginnings while contributing to the promotion of environmentally conscious thinking in the fashion industry.
